the island's position
Fraser Island has a length of 120km and is up to 15km wide. Therefor it is world's largest sand island.

Although there are no sealed roads on Fraser Island, about 20.000 cars are transferred to it yearly (value from 1998).

You'll find forty different mammals and in addition a large amount of insects and reptiles.
