| Ben Lomond Nationalpark is primarily known as a good skiing area. The whole Ben Lomond Range stretches within the nationalpark which is situated about 50 kilometers south-eastern of Launceston. In winter an alpine village is established where you can buy everything important. The fees for lifts and skiing material are clearly below the ones of the Australian mainland. Even during the other seasons the landscape is remarkable, particularly during the bloom of various wild flowers. | |||
