Bay of Alcudia near Can Picafort    
Can Picafort is situated in the middle of the Bay of Alcudia, where the beaches
are bursting from tourists in summer. A few Ks away from the northern beach
you will find the marshland S'Albufera, which became legally protected in 1988.
The fertile ground was already of agricultural importance to the Romans and Arabs.
Today it is a popular place for ornithologists.
