Formentor Peninsula in the north of the island is one of the most delightful
landscapes of Majorca. Here you see the view from S'Atalaya d'Albercutx which
is an almost 500 year-old watch-tower you can reach from Mirador des Colomer
on foot or by car following a road of potholes. The white line near the bay on the right
is the first-class hotel 'Formentor' built in 1929. Following the winding road from
Mirador des Colomer you will eventually reach the lighthouse of Cap de Formentor
where you should consider to watch the sundown.
