Between Soller and Pollenca beyond Majorca's highest mountain - Puig Major -
a windind road is turning off leading to Sa Calobra. The road crosses 800 meters
of altitude down to the sea and passes this so-called "tie knot". Visiting the almost
exclusive tourist village Sa Calobra you should have a look on the gorge of Torrent
de Pareis. The river reaches the sea passing a narrow shingle beach.
By the way the green Opel Corsa on the picture is our rented car and you will find
lots of cars on Majorca looking exactly the same ;-)
