Millstream-Chichester Nationalpark covers about 2000 square kilometers and is
most easily reached from the Great Northern Highway. The semi-arid area is famous
beacause of its waterholes that are good for swimming. Amongst them are Python Pool and
Chinderwarriner Pool. The latter is not far away from Millstream Homestead
where you can get information about the ecosystem and the Yinjibarndi aborigines.
There is a number of hiking trails and drives in the park as well as campsites. |
