Karijini Nationalpark is probably one of the nicest and most typical Australian nationalparks.
It is typical due to its colourful mostly deep red gorges of Hamersley Range and because
of its real outback atmosphere. In addition you can see idyllic waterfalls and a lot of colourful
wildflowers during spring. You can get information about accessibility of the park areas at a
visitor center - you should show up there!. One of the various attractions are Dales Gorge
with Circular Pool and Fortescue Falls, Hancock Gorge and Oxer's Lookout. In addition there
are a lot of other gorges and waterfalls, e.g. Kalamina Falls, and the campsites are nicely situated. |
