The 'Salinas de Levante' are legally protected salt-works, which are
habitat for many highly specialized plants. They are situated near the
famous beach 'Es Trenc'. Since the 13th century people used the salt-works,
but today use is strongly limited. These towered salt mountains look certainly higher
than they are. It was even difficult to find them ;-)
