Each day there are weekly markets in different parts of the islands. One of the most
famous ones takes place in Sineu each Wednesday so that the village in the
geographical center of Majorca becomes a meeting point for natives and tourists.
It is recommended to come here early in the morning before all the buses with tourists arrive.
On the picture you see a butcher cutting 'Serrano' ham which is sold and offered for tasting.
These hams are hanging down from the ceilings in restaurants in process of ripening.
