Bruny Island is named after rear-admiral Bruni D'Entrecasteaux who
came along in 1792. Bruny Island consists of two parts which
are connected by an isthmus called 'the neck'. It is about five kilometers long
and lies between Isthmus Bay and Adventure Bay. |
