Croajingolong Nationalpark is located at the border to New South Wales and might be
one of nicest nationalparks of Australia. There are a lot of inlets and small forests as well
as many untouched beaches. A rich fauna is dominated by large goannas.
There are several camp sites but you should make a call for a reservation during holidays.
Within the park there is a sleepy village called Mallacoota, which turns into a crowded
place during Easter and Christmas due to lots of families staying here. As well part of the
park is Point Hicks which is told being the first part of Australia noticed by Captain Cook. |
