The first settlers came to Avon Valley about one year year after founding the
settlement Perth. It is situated about 100 kilometers northwest of Perth and is
made up in a very British style. While the valley itself boasts with many wild
flowers during spring the nationalpark consists mainly of granite formations and forest.
There are several campsites, but you might contact the ranger in advance to use them.
